Student-Centered Technology I wrote a 4th-grade interdisciplinary unit on map skills that seamlessly integrates technology in an active, engaging manner. The lessons using the Degrees of Confluence website were a big hit with the kids. They loved working with GPS units, too!
Making Technology Work in the Classroom
As a student teacher I was lucky to be assigned to a cooperating teacher with a strong interest in technology. We had a well equipped classroom and strong technology skills. Even so I began wonder why all teachers don’t embrace technology and how I can best use the skills I do have.
